The TRC (Temporary Resident Card) is an application submitted at a diplomatic mission or consular post of the Republic of Croatia. Exceptionally, third-country nationals who are required to have a visa to enter the Republic of Croatia may also apply for a temporary stay at a police administration/ police station. A Temporary stay for work is granted as a stay on a work permit.

Third-country nationals may apply for a temporary stay of digital nomads only after six months have passed from the expiry of the TRC.
